Lynn and I got a fairly good look at the countryside surrounding Puntarenas as we spent several hours on a bus traveling to the Rincon River for rafting.
The countryside seemed to vary between three types of views... beautifull green fields and trees, rickety dwellings, and fairly modern big tourist stops.
